Monday, December 10, 2012. As promised, here is my raw brownie recipe. I don't have a decent picture of them, so I will add that to the post later. These are seriously addicting. And they are HEALTHY. The first time I had them, I had phantom guilt pains because they tasted so good that they had to be bad for me right? 1 cup dates (pitted). 1/4 cup raw cocoa powder (raw is always better, but regular cocoa powder is just fine). Already you are probably thinking that they sound disgustingly healthy, right?

Wednesday, July 22, 2015. First Beach Day of Summer. Our new friend, Megan Hebdon, who lives in our complex, invited us to go to the beach with her and some other sisters in our ward. We miraculously fit 3 car seats in the back of her truck! We went down to Zuma for a hot, fun, and fabulous day at the beach, the first one of the summer for us, and one of the few, I'm sure (it's just not super practical going to the beach with a little, still-nursing baby). We had fun! But we had a lot of fun.

Sunday, July 13, 2014. We took a little trip up to the bay area for the 4th of July to see Michael and Michelle and their boys. We left on the 4th, in the morning, and got there some time in the afternoon, just in time to go to a little swim party/bbq with them. And that night Daniel, Michael and Damon went to a fireworks show. We left Monday morning for a long trip back. We had an awesome time with them, though! Brooke loved riding the deer on the Merry-Go-Round. She was a good sport about everything.
