Not So 9 to 5: Day 39. The Inaugural Year of an Independent Comic Artist. I finished inking and trying out some colouring in pencil crayon on this page. I really like how it turned out in print and in hard copy, but the digital version leaves a lot to be desired. The background isn't quite right, but it was fun to do. I like using tradition media, it's so physical. Or check out the category archives? Links to this post. Not So 9 to 5. Not So 9 to 5: Day 38. I intigrate everything into my day to day life.

What artistic things do you do as an artist? - pOnju

What artistic things do you do as an artist? What artistic things do you do as an artist? Feb 27th, 2007 04:19 pm. I've always considered myself an artist, although from outward exterior appearance I tend to look fairly un-artistic. ;. I don't get piercings, or tattoo ISBN barcodes on my neck, or anything else remotely in the direction of physical pain. I'm too delicate for that. ; ;. But anyhoo - what do you folks do as an artist that separates you from the regular "surface dwellers"? The gift and power...

`dry ice's Scrapbook.: November 2008
http://lynsleybrito.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2008. Yue Opera Clover Leaves. It was my first time watching a Chinese opera performance live at our campus' mini-theater last Friday. There were five skits; I couldn't understand every word, but at least I knew what was going on. : ). Skit 1: a scene from the Butterfly Lovers. Skit 2: a scene from The Peony Pavilion. This actress is a first-level opera performer and opera professor / researcher. *A*. Skit 4. I loved this skit - it was comedy. When she came over last weekend. Sketchi...

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Aka the OH-GOD-SAVE-US class. This is our teacher, Wang Xiaoming, telling us how our homework sucks. OH GOD. He's a nice guy, though. This class is just tuff, is all. Let me expound, using my own homework. "Your fish look too realistic.". This is passable.". The tree looks awkward." Okay, I admit it. It does look strange. The red could be a little darker.". Hanging at my classmates' dorm after homework check-up. I guess I was really kind of bored. 160;and Wu Chenyang. . My colu...

`dry ice's Scrapbook.: Lingyin Temple (Pt. 2).

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Lingyin Temple (Pt. 2). More photos from that trip. Yuxi and Lai Chenlin. In the temple museum, where taking photos wasn't allowed. So that's all I was able to. * *. A Japanese monk. His statue was erected to symbolize goodwill between the Chinese and the Japanese peoples. But, uhmm. the "Japanese" in "Chinese-Japanese friendship ties" engraved on the plaque is crossed out. XB. I don't regret it, though, if only for the peace of mind visiting temples brings. Top Recs for All! Mar 27th, 2020 at 9:17 PM. This set of recs is something I'll be working on. It's more of what I've read currently and loved. I'll need to backtrack later to add other goodies in. I add a quote from the fic under the synopsis. It's free of spoilers except for the fact that's it's a quotation and some might consider that in itself a spoiler. XD. This is not a masterlist. Of recs, but rather my top recs. Fic here I love and adore and reread. Hearts; Willow Bark. A View from the Lists.
