Available in a range of Victorian Railways prototypes of wagons and carriages, in HO scale only. R series kits are injection moulded from polystyrene and RE series kits are etched brass with lost wax brass castings. All kits include instructions, decals and wheels/bogies as appropriate. Include paints, couplers and in many cases etched detail parts, which are all available separately. Wheels to NMRA RP25 code 99 profile and HO gauge, from the standard SEM range of wheelsets, are included. R3 IY Open Wagon.

A range of quick drying gloss spray enamels and etch primers in Victorian Railways, V/Line and Freight Australia colours, supplied in 30ml screw top bottles. The enamels and primers are only suitable for use with spraying equipment such as an airbrush. They are not suitable for brush application. Enamels can be thinned for spraying with GP enamel thinner. Etch primers may be thinned for spraying with a 50/50 mixture of GP enamel thinner and Methylated Spirits. Prices (incl. GST):- as shown.

New Short U Van. New Short U Vans. This series of Victorian Railways short steel 'U' louvre van has never before been offered in injection moulded form, either RTR or as a kit. Two HO scale kit versions are available; R30T with a trapdoor at one and and R30P with no trapdoor. The detail under the dooways can also be adapted to represent a wagons condition at any time from the mid 1950s, when buffers were removed, up until withdrawal in the late 1970s. Monday, May 12, 2014. South of the Border. Proto87 stalwart and fellow Proto87 protagonist, Rene' Gourly, came down from Vancouver BC, Canada to Bellingham WA, USA for the day to help me out on my Australian prototype layout. These are the crazy things one can do when living close to the border. Rene' suggested that I follow the Gravett approach by using the carry cases as layout 'legs'.
