Tuesday, June 5, 2012. IPhone 4: DIY Broken Screen Repair. During my trip to Apache Lake a few weekends ago, I accidentally shattered the screen on my iPhone 4 while camping. While it's still unknown to me how the phone got shattered, I ultimately ended up with a broken screen that required fixing. This blog entry is for anyone else who unforutnately shatters their iPhone and wants to know their options about getting it repaired. Your first thought when you shatter your iPhone screen is probably to take ...

Andy Andy Blog: Clutch Performance!
http://atrain64.blogspot.com/2015/03/clutch-performance.html
Saturday, March 14, 2015. Game 1 was close the whole way through. I found myself up with a spare going into the 10th frame and our team down by 17 pins. I threw a good ball that left all but the 10-pin and we had won game 1! I closed out with a 224. Unfortunately, we got destroyed in game. 2, as all of their bowlers bowled well above their average. It was not looking good anymore. They had won game 2 and we found ourselves down by 105 total pins. You might recall that I recently purchased a 70" HDTV....

http://foreecon.blogspot.com/2010/07/djune-2010.html
Saturday, July 17, 2010. For those of you synchronizing your internal calendars to my monthly posts, I apologize. It is far past the first week of the month, when I usually post these things. Today is July 17th - So to compensate, let's all start July this week. There, two problems solved. Oh, and of course now you can put on a costume for your family's Thanksgiving gathering, which is something we all want to do anyway. So I'm mixing it up slightly this month. Here's Dave-June 2010 in pictures:. Due to ...

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, I wonder what Davis did during the period July 1 - July 31, 2010. Think no more:. In other words, I felt slightly better than 'neutral' on average this month. I am zen . Miles Jogged: 9.8. Average Speed: 4.17 mph. Excuses: We were on vacation for the first two weeks of the month (see below), and I was sick the last week. But the few miles we jogged were a full 4.2% faster than June's average speed! Though 4 of them were in one night.

Thursday, December 31, 2009. The Year in Dave Data. 2009 It was a good year. A year full of stuff. For one, I know the frequency of things I do that I would otherwise only be able to guess at:. I saw 9 movies in theaters this year. I have a feeling that's below average. And apparently I didn't see a single movie all summer. 5 Star Trek (Almost a summer blockbuster? 6 A Serious Man. 7 The Invention of Lying. 8 Men Who Stare at Goats. Most Cheesy, But Wonderful:. The Invention of Lying. Clearly I was busy ...

Andy Andy Blog: January Updates
http://atrain64.blogspot.com/2015/01/january-updates.html
Thursday, January 22, 2015. No main theme for today's post, I simply wanted to update everyone on what's going on in the life of Andy at the moment. January was an expensive month for me. I not only maxed out my Roth IRA's contribution (now entering its 7th year), but I also booked a flight to Osaka, Japan for April and purchased a 70" Sharp Aquos, just in time for my Super Bowl party. It's a good thing I'm still single. It makes it easier to afford these not-so-cheap luxuries. Tucson, AZ, United States.

Andy Andy Blog: March 2015
http://atrain64.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Bowling Championships and Southwest Challenge! Last Thursday was championship night for the IBM Bowling League. Since the format of the final night changed from 2 teams to 4 teams a few years ago, our team has not won the league. The new format features 4 of the 8 teams all bowling against each other in a battle of total pin-count across 3 games. Obviously, heads up is easier to win since you only have to be better than 1 other team on a given night. We made it to day 2! The re...

Thursday, July 29, 2010. Lexus IS 250/350: How to Perform an Oil Change. I then talked to my friend Wayne who performs his own oil changes. I researched how to perform an oil change on my car and then we gave it a shot. After seeing how easy it was to do on my own, I bought my own equipment and now do my own oil changes. :D It's very rewarding and I know that it gets done right! How-To Guide: Performing an Oil Change on a Lexus IS250/350. Set of Car Jack and Stands ($80 at Sears). Oil Filter Kit: 04152-Y...
