Wednesday, August 09, 2006. A picture paints a thousand words. Its like christmas is August. I must have done something really good to be so blessed! My Aunt got me Sweet Dilis, Pusit and canned Taba ng Talangka, Burong Hipon aka Tagilo. I believe the Burong Dalag is Tagilo with fish instead of Shrimp. One word, Navarro's, is the best discory I have ever made. My family and I are so happy coz we now can bring this yummy products to California, especially the Tagilo since its not available here.

Monday, July 13, 2009. 4th of July with Filipino flare. Sorry for the lack of pictures. I was super busy that day. 4th of July. What makes me smile is while driving around to buy groceries, I smell smokey grill everywhere. A smell that means company of people enjoying a hopefully great grilled meal. I find that grilling food for your guest is the easiest way of entertaining. Almost no prep needed. Just buy your protein and vegetables. Season or marinate, then grill! Well, this I found in a Cafe at the Westfield mall in San Francisco called Cocola Bakery. What else can I say that is not shown in the pictures. It is gorgeous! Monday, July 13, 2009. When I travel, I try to eat what the place has to offer. I am not sure if chili is a regional food anymore. I mean I could imagine that chili is one of those dishes that is served in every state and is different in each state. I mean a box for each burger. And you know not one person will only eat one burger. The burgers are tiny. Do I like them? Yes, I mean they are better than the frozen version I buy at the grocery store. Would I eat it again? 4th of July with Filipino flare.

I am just so excited and intrigued with the new Aronofsky film and not only cause he directed it but also it's because it's BALLET! The only dance sequence in a movie that is believable to me so far is the Cate Blanchette red dress dance scene from Benjamin Button.
