Growing Together A Family Forever. Sunday, April 7, 2013. We must be doing SOMETHING right! Bart and I have 3 AMAZING children! Each of them in their own right have spectacular qualities that never cease to impress me. A few weeks ago, I had a day that reminded me all the sacrifice, heartache, and frustration that typically accompanies raising young children is completely worth it. During that same day, later in the afternoon, I sat with my 3 year old little boy. We watched a Daniel Tiger. ALL IN ONE DAY!

Leek and Goat Cheese Tart. 1/4 tsp. salt. 2 Tbsp. white wine. 1 cup crumbled goat cheese. 2 Tbsp. water. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 1/2 cups flour. 3/4 tsp. salt. 9 Tbsp. butter, slightly softened. 4 Tbsp. ice water. 1 tsp apple cider vinegar. Meanwhile, beat together the egg, yolk, milk, cream, white wine, and salt. Roll out the crust and fit into a tart pan (or if, like me, you don't have a tart pan, a springform cheesecake pan will work).
