Notes From An Even Smaller Island. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Steep Holm trip - 5th July 2012. Here are a selection of photos taken on the last trip to Steep Holm. This was the 3rd trip this year with 10 trips now cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions. Approaching the island on the Cardiff Sea Safaris RIB. A good example of Honeycomb worms (Sabellaria alveolata). One of the island's many Lackey moth caterpillars. The wonderful Henbane flowers grace the island at this time of year.
