I am a 15 year old boy and I came from Romania 3 and a half years ago and now I live with my parents in West London UK. I enjoy playing on my PS3 and at the weekend I play football with my friends in the park. I go to Barnhill Community High school and at the moment I am doing my GCSE’s. But a metaphor describes as if it’s something else for effect. Why do you think that poets use metaphor sometimes? Why not just use literal language?
