Chomp iphone app redesign. Mobile app (2011) - usability studies / interaction design / visual design. Redesign the existing Chomp iPhone app. The main requirement for this redesign was was to make app discovery inviting and fun and to increase user engagement. This was achieved by providing a clear focus on search, simplifying the overall experience and making the app visually compelling.

App Store search (2013) - user experience / visual design. Redesign the App Store search experience. During usability studies at Chomp, we observed that people use their browser to search for apps by function. Once they found what they were looking for, they type the app name into the search box of the App Store. Introducing hints during the search process and adding suggestions was an additional way to make it easier and quicker for people to find apps.

Mobile app (2011) - usability studies / interaction design / visual design. Design an Android app for the app search engine Chomp. To "translate" the existing Chomp iPhone app into Android while making sure that platform-specific conventions are being applied. I had never designed an app for Android or used an Android phone before, and I was aware of the different screen sizes and resolutions.

Design SNOCAP's MyStore, an embeddable widget that allowed artists and independent labels to upload and sell their music. As a music-focused product, we needed to make sure that it was optimized for independent artists, labels and music customers equally. Each of those clients had their own unique set of requirements, which meant that usability testing was key to success.
