Walks, Travels, etc. Hiking, Skiing, etc. Packwood House - Is Coming Along 2/21/09. Building the Shed - October 26, 2007. We just finished the walls and door to the bathhouse/shed. More work in Packwood. November 29th, 2007. Work done from November 25th-29th. Toilet, sink, burn piles. Shoveling-It's what's for dinner 02/01/08. Exciting stuff. The water, electricity, and phone are all wired and plumbed to the bath house! Showers keep you clean - 04/24/08. Gardening at 2000 feet. Putting the yurt up!

Walks, Travels, etc. Hiking, Skiing, etc. Sweden - Day 3 and 4 - Stockholm. We stopped by Staffan and Camilla's 2nd Hand store in Norrskedika. It's a rather bustling affair. I must concur with the shoppers frequenting the store. Some of the old stuff made of wood, tin, steel, and glass, are sooo much nicer than the plastic stuff made these days. The Swedes all fly flags in front of the houses and businesses, but they didn't need a national crisis to pull them together. More canals and boats at Sunset.

At Arlanda airport in Stockholm waiting for the plane to Kiruna at the very northern tip of Sweden above the arctic circle. The end of this valley is our walking destination. It's 19 km. There is a boat over a lake along the way that can be taken cutting 7 km from the walk. This was the name of the dorm we stayed in. Some nice fall flowers gone to seed.
