http://littlejakemcswain.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 17, 2015. We really had a sweet time this Easter. It was neat to have my parent's come for the Saturday evening service. Then on Sunday, I served early and we all went to Shelby to see the Barber Family. It was a beautiful day. The kids stayed with Meme and Papa for a couple of days and played with their cousins, Meredith and Jay Caleb. Priceless moments with grandparents! We all loved holding Lori's new babies. It was rough adjusting back to real life this Monday, but we made it! We saw th...

Friday, July 24, 2015. The summer started with a couple of camps. Bethany had gymnastics camp with Mrs. Courtney at Mrs. Rhonda's. Needless to say, she loved it! She's been flipping ever since. The show at the end of the week was so cute. Jake sitting watching the big boys after a scrimmage at his camp. We practiced dancer pose. We practiced some cursive. We went to see "Inside Out" with the Chaneys. I really didn't get any good pictures of baseball camp, but he loved it. The kids loved the penguins.

Making it Memorable - The McSwains: June 2014

Thursday, June 12, 2014. One of my life goals was to complete a triathlon before I turned 40. Ally and Jon gave me her old road bike and suddenly the goal became reachable. So as naive as can be, I convinced Ally to sign up for the Rambling Rose Women's Triathlon with me. The cool thing is that we did it! We finished in a great time too! Granted the swimming was torture, but some training could make this not only possible but easier! I am so proud of us. Here's all the gear laid out the night before.

Making it Memorable - The McSwains: March 2015
http://littlejakemcswain.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 9, 2015. Every year we say, "This may be our last year of basketball." The cool thing is Jake really likes it and is really starting to understand the game. This was his fifth season and fourth year at Westport Baptist Church. They really put together a great program to encourage the kids in Christian living and teach them about basketball. I'm so thankful for all the coaches and volunteers. Friday, March 6, 2015. They sledged as much as possible with the neighbors and cousins. Romare Beard...

Making it Memorable - The McSwains: October 2014

Thursday, October 23, 2014. Jake doesn't get to go to the Pumpkin Patch with school anymore, so our trip with friends is much anticipated. When the kids and I got to Lineberger's, they saw the corn to play in. This was always one of our favorite parts of Patterson Farms. Bethany had corn way down in her underwear. All the kids love this big slide, even Jensen! Sawyer, Stella, Jensen, Haven, Jake, Bethany and Jovie. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Promising to follow the rules on the range. A glimpse of summer.

Friday, February 28, 2014. We were so thrilled to get a second round of snow this year and it covered the grass! We went over to Holly's to wait for the snow to start. It was too cold for little one year olds! Jana in her snow gear! It's rare you catch a pic of this girl! Snack may have been their favorite part! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hope for the Home. Thursday, June 25, 2015. Thank you for going with me, Holly. It was a gift! This is probably the best picture of the week. Jobe Bradham. I love this one of Jovie, too! This was the best group shot we could get. It was soooo hot! Friday, June 19, 2015. Coach Pitch Spring 2015. They had a special song on the Memorial Day game. Jake loves it when cousins come to cheer him on. Pop and Grammy came to almost every game. Part of the fun was getting to talk to Caroline and all the Summeys. Hope for the Home.

Making it Memorable - The McSwains: November 2014
http://littlejakemcswain.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. Well, the months have gotten away from me, but we have so many fun things we need to document. There were lots of normal days that I want to remember. Sometime I need to remember these moments even more than the super, special events. Time is going too fast this fall! Beth found this lizard at Grammy and Pop's new house one day. She loves creepy crawlers! They finally moved in! It's a beautiful house. Here it is almost done. It's cute to see the boys playing together. My plan w...

Making it Memorable - The McSwains: August 2014
http://littlejakemcswain.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Last day of summer and the first day of school! We spent our last day of summer with the cousins in Shelby. It was such a beautiful day to feel time go slow for one more day. Looking at the goats at Crest. The babies are swimming. Which one is regular chocolate? It's almost the end of the big garden. You know I can drive this, don't you Meme? Cruz still looks like a baby here. And then it was time for the first day of school! Daddy and Pop are proud! Monday, August 25, 2014.
