Sunday, August 1, 2010. Destin, Florida-Summer Vacation 2010. This year for vacation we went to Destin, Florida. We were nervous because of the oil leak but we decided to try it anyway. Plus, my cousin Kimberly was getting married on the beach that week so we were coming for that no matter what. Kenley and Emma at Kim and Zac rehearsal. They weren't the most cooperative little flower girls but they were having a ball practicing. We went to crab Island. The girls had to help Pahpaw drive the boat.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. What a wonderful and relaxing weekend we had! This year was the first year in probably 9 years that we have not been at Possum Kingdom Lake for the Memorial Holiday Weekend, but it was wonderful to stay at home and spend time with friends. We hit 2 pools over the weekend with friends and the kids have "jumped" into summer! Reid has been and always will be our little fish and jumps right on in, even though the water is a little cold! Such a happy boy! Brave girl sliding into the pool.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Fun in the Sun! In July, Hayes went to the beach - Seacrest Beach, Florida, to be specific. He had such a fun time! Hayes and Daddy at the ocean for the first time! Hayes putting his toes in the water. Hayes trying out the sand for the first time. Hayes spent lots of time hanging out in his spiffy little tent . . . And sleeping in his tent. Rosemary Beach outside Trent's favorite restaurant - La Cocina. Hayes spent time with all of his favorite people - at the beach with Aunt Jen.

Friday, January 29, 2010. 2009 In Review (Part 2). In October, my friends gave me a fabulous shower in Fayetteville. We got even more great stuff for the baby! I have the best party-planning friends ever! The food was great and the decorations were so super-cute! The nursery started coming together - we put together the crib and my friend Pam painted an old buffet for me to use as a changing table. It was the most gorgeous lavender color! He was just mad because someone asked him where his costume was!

Sunday, March 21, 2010. A few weeks ago, my cousin Meghan had a baby boy - sweet Jordan Reed. We haven't been able to make it down to Russellville to meet him because I started back to work and the weekends have just been packed full. Luckily, she and her parents came up this past weekend and the boys got to meet. Neither was very impressed with the other, but they will have fun together soon! Wednesday, September 8, 2010. I can't believe our sweet boy is nine months old. We have had such a fun month as his little personality just becomes more and more lively! Hayes still usually sleeps through the night - from 8:30 or so until 6 - unless he's not feeling well. And sometimes he likes to give me an extra early wake-up call at 5 am. We retired the swaddle when I found it loose in his crib one night. Hayes eats at least one jar of baby food a day, and he has started eating puffs and Baby Mum-Mums.
