Ntsiki Biyela is our resident winemaker and joined us in January 2004. She is a B Sc. Oenology graduate from Stellenbosch University and was an SAA bursar after excelling at science in high school in Zululand. She has a passion for red wine and has been named the Landbouweekblad Woman Winemaker of the year. Sané is a graduate from the PYDA (Pinotage Youth Development Academy) and joined us in June 2014.

FOOD PAIRING CAPE CROSS 2009. A rich Cape Bobotie would be the perfect match for the Cape Cross 2009. Two Cape classics together! These quantities serve up to eight people, but you can adjust them to make the recipe smaller. 1 fairly thick slice crustless bread (white or brown). 2 onions, sliced. 2 cloves garlic, crushed(I slice them thinly, sprinkle with salt and crush with the blade of a knife). 25 ml curry powder. 15ml smooth apricot jam. 1 kg raw mince. Pinch each salt and turmeric.

Inspired by the constellation Orion whose brightest star is the red giant called Betelgeuse, one thousand times larger then our sun. It is an Elegant French-style Bordeaux blend, pride of the Stellekaya range. Inspired by the constellation Hercules, the giant red is Rasalgethi. Hercules became known as The Hero after completing.
