SAS work to alleviate the pressures on social workers by:. 8226; Finding appropriate accommodation for the young person, reducing the use of bed and breakfast /hostel accommodation. 8226; Help to find accommodation in emergency/crisis situations. 8226; Attending meetings e.g. court appearances, supporting young people with DSS benefits, liaising with other agencies. 8226; SAS will actively prepare young people for independence.
