GRINGOS EN EL SUR. Friday, June 27, 2008. In June and July Tres Cruces is the place to go to see the sun rise.and not just any ole sunrise. but 3 suns rising! Oh yes.this is no stoner trip (haha). this is for real! Tres Cruces is above a cloud forest and the clouds create an optical illusion of three suns rising simultaniously! They had another vat with broth in it and they took a bowl and a scoop of broth and then picked out some good meat to put in it (I later found out there is also cow legs in it) and then sprinkled it with green onions and called it breakfast!
