Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl and a Robot. Monday, August 29, 2011. Every summer the kids and I take a little road trip to California to see my sister. It is a very long drive (12 hrs-thank goodness for dvd players) but we love it, so we go. Usually it is pretty uneventful. Its just a nice week (or so) away to visit. This year we were jam packed with activities. And with all of that, and taking care of my 4 2(my sisters)kids I still had time to read a good book! How can you go wrong with all of that?

Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl and a Robot. Saturday, June 11, 2011. Fathers and sons was this weekend. Brian and Jacks first, by the way. So the girls and I had ourselves some fun too! It started with Judy Moody not so bummer summer (cute). Then to the mall (of course, Sheridan was with us). We had us some chick fil-a (so good! And our evening ended with each of us making a movie pick. (which made our night end at 1am! And just so you know, this beaut of a picture took FOREVER to get!

Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl and a Robot. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. I am so proud and in awe of these two girls. About 3 weeks ago they had their 3rd 1st day of school this year! Obvioulsy you have gathered from this post that we have moved, again. But unfortunately it is not our "forever" house. Another move is inevidable. Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl and a Robot. Monday, June 13, 2011. The girls computer lab teacher from school had her 1st book published! It was kind of exciting. I bought a copy on Tuesday (when it was released). Then on Saturday I took them to Barnes and Nobles to her signing. It was so much fun. They stood in line, and she signed the book to them and chatted with them for a bit. She was really nice and funny. Saturday, June 11, 2011. And just so you know, this beaut of a picture took FOREVER to get!

Brian thought it would be an awesome project for the kids to give it a fresh coat of paint. Turns out he was right. The kids loved it.
