PJ and I have attempted to start a vegetable garden this year. It has been a huge learning experience for both of us so far since neither of us have a clue about growing anything. We have had the most success with our pea plant that we started over two months ago. I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is vegetable gardening does NOT save you money! For Halloween, Stephanie and I made our basement into haunted mortuary. The victims first went into the investigation room where they tried to figure out how the witch was killed. They got to count the witches' eyeballs, touch the brain, feel the witches skin, and take the nail out of the hand. As soon as they would touch the nail, Grandpa Shumway would jump from behind the cage. Next, was the coffin storage room where Aunt Codee was trapped awaiting her autopsy. Monday, August 16, 2010. My two oldest brothers came up this weekend to visit Nathan and I before we all start school. They are both headed to BYU-I so we won't get to see them very often. It was a lot of fun having them here! We went to Cheyenne and saw Toy Story 3, so we didn't do anything really exciting but I really enjoyed just having them around and talking to them.
