The Gough Gang: Fred
http://thegoughgang.blogspot.com/2013/01/fred.html
Thursday, January 31, 2013. Fred is Tyler's pet Leopard Gecko. I have to admit, if someone had told me that someday I would own a reptile, I would have laughed. Fred was one of those moments when in an effort at cutting down on saying "no" I found myself backed into a corner within 4 months. I said "ok, now you need to earn 50% of the ENTIRE cost of the Gecko." The total cost of said Gecko for all the equipment and food would be $275. I figured that would now be the final straw and the end of it. I say: ...

I have to drink rice milk due to a milk and soy allergy and rice milk is ridiculously expensive considering rice is pretty dang cheap. They are also rice milk drinkers and they use a vitamix to make their own. Here is the before photo to the left. What you are looking at is:. And here- - - - - - - - - - -you are looking at it in juice form! The other thing...

Est November 16, 2002. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. What good is being a pirate if you can't have cool facial hair? We're thinking of making Stella a parrot. Est November 16, 2002. Friday, February 13, 2009. Have you been experiencing growing pains lately? For blogging in spurts. It's just that I never seem to have any time to consistently attend to your needs. When I do finally find that time I have so much to tell and show you that I end up stretching you oh so thin. I really do apologize. I hope you will forgive me this one last post. PS Did I happen to tell you what Evelyn said the other day? When she was being particularly naughty and subsequently. So I ...

The Gough Gang: Supermom vs. Reality Mom
http://thegoughgang.blogspot.com/2013/05/supermom-vs-reality-mom.html
Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Supermom vs. Reality Mom. I had a thought the other day as I was standing in line at Walmart. I find that this can be a great time for introspection because it's a nicer practice than grumbling about being in line. On this particular day my thoughts weren't 100% peaceful given that it was Saturday night and I was accompanied by Two 11-year old boys and a 9-year old boy. The voices inside my head sounded something like this:. Maybe she misses when her kids were little.". My kids won'...

The Gough Gang: Tyler's Birthday Party
http://thegoughgang.blogspot.com/2013/04/tylers-birthday-party.html
Thursday, April 11, 2013. 11 Years old is a lot louder than 10. I know this because I had the glorious opportunity to haul 3 11 year old boys to Lenexa (35 minutes away) for Tyler's 11th birthday party. You wouldn't think 3 kids could really make that much noise but they can rival the old-fashioned steam engines for ear splitting-sound-barrier-breaking experiences. Here we've got Brayden, Tyler, Carter, and Jake. No we were not intoxicating the kids, they are crazy enough as it is! A slice of Cherry Pie.
