Tuesday, May 8, 2012. The commonly believed misconception that life ends after college is in fact false, although life does change drastically after college. My current summer schedule consists of the following (with a few weddings and fun weekend trips in May! Maymester graduate class: May 14th - June 8th. Investing in Eternity: April 2012
http://brookehelsabeck.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2012. We were made for something more than this! Yesterday in Bible Study we were talking about our dreams and aspirations for the future. These discussions come up constantly as a senior in college, with graduation just 9 days away! The million dollar question of the day is: "What are you going to do after college? Investing in Eternity: August 2012

Sunday, August 19, 2012. Blessed beyond measure. Overwhelming thankfulness. I am sitting in my room in Virginia writing my final blog about my summer in Costa Rica. I keep having to remind myself that I'm not there anymore. Life back in Virginia seems so strange to me now! My last week in Costa Rica was unforgettable, as every week there was. But this last week was especially busy for us. We had a team from California working with us, which meant events and outreach every day! My little girls table.

Investing in Eternity: July 2012
http://brookehelsabeck.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. LAUGHTER, contagious laughter! Our mouths were filled with LAUGHTER. Our tongues with songs of JOY. Then it was said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them.' The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with JOY. This week has been filled with LAUGHTER. Laughter, contagious laughter spread through LightForce this week - in Coronado for Bible Study, church, and una fiesta, in Tirrases as we splashed through the rain playing futbol with the kids, in S...

Monday, June 25, 2012. He who is in me is GREATER than he who is in the world. It's been almost two weeks that I have been living in San Jose now. I wish the time would slow down because I only have 7 more weeks! This week we continued to plan for Casa Agape changes and create a budget for the project. We ventured out into Guadelupe and found a wood warehouse where we can get supplies to build furniture.definitely got some looks walking into a construction warehouse as a girl! They said that it was an el...

Investing in Eternity: How do you say goodbye?
http://brookehelsabeck.blogspot.com/2012/08/how-do-you-say-goodbye.html
Tuesday, August 7, 2012. How do you say goodbye? You tell everyone "I'll see you soon! And trust in the Lord's faithful promise to one day allow you to be reunited with all of your brothers and sisters in Christ here in Costa Rica! My roommates, my friends, my church, and the men, women, and children I've worked with are my FAMILY. And I love them. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love". These are the three virtues that God has placed on my heart during this next period of transition from Cos...
