Tighty Writie: September 2011
http://tightywritie.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The transformation of thoughts into words. Friday, September 23, 2011. The power of words. Excuse me.*clears throat*. moves soapbox into position. Words have amazing power. They have the power to lift us up or shoot us down. They bring warmth or freezing cold based on how they are spoken. Words can teach and words can exasperate. Words matter. When my 8 year old came home with a math worksheet we reviewed it like all parents do. Here is one of the math problems:. Explain how you know. Monday, September 1...

Tighty Writie: February 2012
http://tightywritie.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The transformation of thoughts into words. Monday, February 13, 2012. Hi ho hi ho, it's off to edit I go. I thought writing my story was hard. Fun, but hard. Now it's time to edit. This is hard and I'm not sure it's fun. I haven't decided yet. It's a little masochistic because you take what you love, what poured out from you and then you look at it and call your own baby ugly. Do you ever have these concerns? What is your process for editing your stories? Thursday, February 2, 2012. Follow me on Twitter!

Untold Damage, Well Told Story | A Storyteller's Musings
https://pburton50.wordpress.com/2013/05/25/untold-damage-well-told-story
A Storyteller's Musings. Thoughts on the world of a aspiring writer. Untold Damage, Well Told Story. It’s been awhile, I know. But, as I said in my last blog, I’m sick of yakkin’ about myself. Now, I will warn everyone that I will never,. Yes Mark Mallen is a cop. Even though he is a junkie and in disgra...

Hey Now: October 2011
http://kacimari.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. Per usual, I have waited until the very last minute to make this happen. All of October I've been going back and forth with myself as to whether or not I should participate in NaNoWriMo. You should do it! I'd say. "You love writing.". I know, I know! But you totally whipped out a 110,000 word novel in 4 weeks before." Ah, yes, this one is not. The voice of reason. This is the one that reminds me that I can do amazing things, even when I have absolutely no. All the best,. I am a ...

Hey Now: March 2012
http://kacimari.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Then I wonder. Isn't this how you're supposed to feel when you're truly passionate about something? Would life suddenly fall into place if I was a full-time writer? Would the grass be greener, the sky bluer? OkayI'm getting off track, but you get the point. What if writing is my. Yeah, yeah, I. I'm a writer. I got it.). There is something so fulfilling about sharing your writing with the world. Words, words, words, words. This is what my best friend Lana sings when she can'...

Tighty Writie: October 2011
http://tightywritie.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
The transformation of thoughts into words. Sunday, October 9, 2011. A silly poem and a picture! You know those people that "have to write"? The ones that write all day and night? The ones that write until their fingers are sore? Writers with ideas coming out every pore? The picture below shows one such as these. She chooses not to write on her knees. The writing is from deep in her bones. She types and types there on her throne. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Who are you as a writer? That's the beauty of diff...

Tighty Writie: December 2011
http://tightywritie.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The transformation of thoughts into words. Friday, December 30, 2011. Some time ago I received a critique of the story that I've been working on this year. My critique partner did a fantastic job of showing me where the story wasn't working and why. For the last several months I've been focusing on my day job and not thinking about the story. Letting it sit, you experienced writers might say. Fast forward several months. I don't know if it will be a better story, but I'm ready to work on it again. The Ot...

NaNoWriMo 11/6 Excuses | Write Away
https://dawngsparrow.wordpress.com/2012/11/07/nanowrimo-116-excuses
About Dawn G. Sparrow. November 7, 2012 · 8:15 am. Okay, so I didn’t get a chance to write on my camping trip, but we had a wonderful time. As for Monday and Tuesday…well, very little writing got done as I tried to clean the house– including getting my son’s room straight. Soon, it will be time to sell it so I can get my own house and land. So, as far as writing is concerned–. So, how are you doing with NaNoWriMo? What are the challenges you have to push through? Tagged as good writing. I think I need to...
