And a big tall guy. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Ordination, Virginia Beach and Good-Byes. We managed to squeeze all kinds of activity into Monday and Tuesday of this week. With all that had to be accomplished to get our family from point A to point B.several times over.I'm still amazed Chris and I didn't end up arguing at some point. Huge accomplishment, people. And a big tall guy. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. My Mother-In-Law's Meat Loaf. For Valentine's Day, my husband rented Julie and Julia. EX-cellent movie. Good choice, honey. I must say, I was pretty inspired by both women, but Julie, in particular. The fact that she cooked her way through that ENTIRE cookbook.and blogged about her experiences.is impressive. Her willingness to stick with it, even to the point of de-boning a duck, is admirable. Try this recipe and you'll find out. 3 lbs lean ground beef.

It was certainly do-able, but I have a new-found respect for single parents.especially those with multiple children, including an infant. Gretchen's still too little for the high chair, so I plopped her in the Kelty and YAY! And there it still sits. And a big tall guy. Saturday, January 30, 2010. So last night, while we were sound asleep, the snow started piling up and we awoke this morning to a winter wonderland. Somehow, I was thankful that Molly wasn't begging us all day to go outside. She did ask once or twice, but we were able to distract her with other interesting things. I've always avoided canning vegetables because, in my mind, canning had to involve a pressure cooker and, well, I don't DO pressure cookers. Within the last few years, my pea-brained mind has finally figured out that perfectly delicious canning can be accomplished without one! Enter my bread and butter pickles; they are delicious, if I do say so myself! And, I don't think anyone will come down with a bad case of botulism!
