Saturday, July 23, 2011. My great aunt is working on project now that she's retired. The project? My mother's great-grandmother had 10 kids. Ten kids! And one of them died the same day the family buried another kid. And my grandmother and her sisters never asked about that. They never asked about moving to America or raising a family of daughters. Monday, August 6, 2012. Quinoa Chicken Enchilada Bake. Okay, it's warm. Okay, it's a tad uncomfortable. Okay, I'm a wuss. Still, it's too warm to be baking casseroles. And yet, that's what I did tonight. Yes, I'm crazy. The guys in white coats will be here soon. Also, I shouldn't give myself free reign in the produce department. It's really not a good idea.
