Yesterday, I began teaching an adult education course in my community. Though it was a small group, we had good discussion on what makes story and on creating strong characters. So I hope my students benefit from the class and are glad they signed up, but in the long run, I think I will receive the greatest benefit of all. Posted by Stephanie Humphreys. The Church of Je...

We do not write because we want to; we write because we have to." W. Somerset Maugham. Thursday, October 6, 2011. Most summers my children entertain themselves by swimming, reading, and hanging out with friends. That still happened this year, but I found myself putting my own projects aside to spend more time with the kids. I knew that our household would change in September when my oldest daughter left home to go to university and I wanted to enjoy having them all together. Posted by Stephanie Humphreys.

The ceremonies we attended were just the formal celebration. She still has several weeks left of school. Posted by Stephanie Humphreys. Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Should be in bookstores soon. We do not write because we want to; we write because we have to." W. Somerset Maugham. Friday, December 9, 2011. No Holly for Christmas Blog Tour. It did take me just over a hundred pages to get truly caught up in the story, but I'm glad I read it through to the end because the suspense built and by the end of the book I couldn't put it down. If you want a Christmas story that is a little different, this is a good choice. You can read more about Julie here. And purchase the book here. A No2 Pencil Stat!
