Well, the subject that was EDC3100 ICT and Pedagogy. I’ve been at this whole study thing since the beginning of 2011 and way back then I heard the whispers of ‘oh geez, watch out for 3100, it’s so full on’ and it didn’t disappoint. It was full on. Miss Taylor and the Incredibly Clever Terminators. A personal insight into the world of ICT in the classroom. Oh me oh maths. May 12, 2015. Maths is one of those subjects that I never really got along with at school. I wasn’t completely hopeless but it just never seemed to click like everything else did. To this day I don’t enjoy it nor do I have good memories of it. This year one of the families I nanny for moved schools and as part of their maths and homework program they use a program called Mathletics.

A little bit about me…. And here we are, assignment one done and dusted. March 29, 2015. March 29, 2015. Wow …. and so I’m done. Well, what a ride that’s been. I’ve been busy doing a 2000 word assignment for EDC2400 Diversity and Pedagogy and feel I’m falling behind in EDP2111 The Middle Years. However, I’m coming to the conclusion that I can only do what I can do. I feel that a bit of a summary on EDC3100 ICT and Pedagogy is required. It’s full on, so much to read. It’s fiddly, technology is plain fiddly.

A little bit about me…. Classroom games for kiddies. May 31, 2015. Mrs Hill’s adventures with ICT blog site says that she’s been having some behaviour management issues. She also said that they started to shut off and found that by ‘ asking them to stand up and move around and playing a quick game is enough to get them energized and back to work. A little bit about me…. Assignment 2 done Yahoooooo. April 15, 2015. April 15, 2015. So, there it is. I think I’ve completed this second assignment. I’ve sent if off to The Learning Centre. For them to give it the once over so I suppose we’ll see how it goes these there. Reflections on this assignment:. It took me about 30 odd hours to complete. I actually feel I learnt a lot from it. I work full time as a teacher aide in a local high school and silly me thought it might be a clever idea to do 3 subjects. A little bit about me…. May 31, 2015. Wow Grade 1 what an experience. The kids are now starting to get a bit comfy with me and me with them. They are a delightful bunch. Since I’ve been there we’ve had 2 students of the week, and I’ve targeted them to be my ‘special helpers’ something they’re over the moon to do. I’ve had a few naughty kids as well one that goes out of his way to distract other, another that is really passive aggressive (the worst kind) and another who continually makes fart noises.
