Wednesday, May 07, 2008. When we planned the Paris trip Shaun and I didn't realize it was a bank holiday and we had Monday off. So when Monday came around we had a free day to hang out in the city. Ed told us about a new Banksy exhibit. This guy named Banksy goes around the city doing street art practically overnight. He does huge pictures/exhibits and nobody knows what he looks like. So we wandered over to Waterloo and stood in the hour long queue so I could see what this was all about. First Day of Work.

Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Breakfast: Plain organic yogurt sweetened with honey. I tossed in some granola, a sliced banana, coconut, a handful of blueberries, and a handful of raspberries. Ever since I detoxed I've been trying to eat healthy food. I've found myself reading the labels on most of the foods I buy. Thursday, May 08, 2008. Observations of the British work culture from an American Part 3 A real fire alarm. It's Thursday afternoon at 4:50pm and the fire alarm goes off. I still feel the urge to jump up and run out of the building but now I'm wondering if this is another test. I look around and people seem to be reacting albeit very slowly to the noise. I never found out where the fire was but it must have been a false alarm since we were allowed back into the building after 20 minutes. First Day of Work.

Monday, May 05, 2008. I just finished up my first week of work and what better way to celebrate than heading off to Paris for the weekend. Shaun and I took the Eurostar, chunnel in American speak, over on Saturday morning and spent two days in the sunshine wandering around and eating delicous food. Eating was closely followed up by visiting the chocolate shop. Chocolate was the only souvenir we picked up. Shaun's happy about the chocolate. Shaun and French guy lounging against a post in front of the metro.
