Playing with Guinea Pigs: July 2010
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Thursday, July 8, 2010. Mmmm life in the summer time is so wonderful! Everyone just seems a tad more relaxed. Now if only I didn't have to work 40 hrs a week, it would be perfect. ;-). I've also really, REALLY been enjoying getting to know people in my church better. The girls I go to Bible study with are great, and some families I've been getting to know just really make life fun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Few of my Favorite Blogs. Playing with Guinea Pigs: May 2010
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Typically every year or so I spend a chunk of time watching Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea straight through. I think what first attracted me to the movies when I was little was that Anne had red hair like me (although, unlike Anne, I've always liked my red hair! Friday, May 7, 2010. Wait, I have a blog? I haven't forgotten about my blog, I've really just been at a loss for what to share! Leave it to Stephanie. I really look forward to Sunday mor...

Playing with Guinea Pigs: 2010
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2011/01/2010.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Alright, so it's the first day of a new year. On with the obligatory blog post! Jesus is the only One who knows what 2011 holds for me, but I can look back on 2010 and see His goodness. It didn't seem like much of an "exciting" year, but as I remember things that happened, it turns out 2010 really was quite a good year! I started in a new position with my company (that fortunately came with a raise! My sister moved in with me for 5 months.

Playing with Guinea Pigs: December 2009
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Fortunately my fever went away the next day and I was just left with a lot of nasty congestion. That didn't disappear until Christmas day, but who can't handle a little head cold? I left for my parents' house on Tuesday afternoon after work and didn't come back into town until Monday night. I was so glad for some time off work- especially since co-workers said a few of those days were really crazy! Saturday, December 19, 2009. The gift of music.

Playing with Guinea Pigs: September 2009
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Monday, September 14, 2009. The warnings with my medicine are scary. Not just the typical side effects. Warnings about foods not to eat that can cause dangerously high blood pressure. All kinds of conditions that should alert me to call my doctor: dizziness, blurred vision, excessive sweating, dark urine, nausea, extreme stomach pains, limb numbness, heart palpitations, etc etc etc. Funtimes! Friday, September 11, 2009. There are so many more, but those are the main highlights&#...

Playing with Guinea Pigs. Friday, December 17, 2010. No pleasures in this life could even come close to the joy of being with my Jesus. I think that's why advent just resonates with me. http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. No DNA match required. Lucky for me, I'm still just part of their fam. I get to cuddle with the girls and bake brownies with them. I get to help put them to bed and then stay up watching tv or sitting in the jacuzzi with Lisa. And now that the girls are bigger- they made a special trip just to visit me! Callie (11), me, Cassie (6), Kirsten (almost 13). Saturday, July 11, 2009. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Just another frustrating day at the surgery center.

Playing with Guinea Pigs: The American Pink
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2010/01/american-pink.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Sunday, January 31, 2010. But that is where my knowledge of the color ends. I don't know if this is only in American, or in the western world, or if this is somehow a universal understanding of what colors to dress your baby in. What I don't understand is this: Why, as babies get bigger, is it ok for girls to wear blue but never for boys to wear pink? The only guys I know that wear pink are either gay, or have the slogan "Real men wear pink" printed on their hot pink t-shirt.

Playing with Guinea Pigs: June 2009
http://playingwithguineapigs.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Playing with Guinea Pigs. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Living today vs dying tomorrow. I cannot live my life like today is my last, and I don't think I'm supposed to. Even Jesus spent time eating, going to the bathroom (although I suppose technically the Bible never mentions He does that, but I'm assuming his human-ness would make him have to), and even spent hours by himself sometimes.
