My Father was a traveling salesman who brought home beautiful half-a-yard samples. My favorites were the colorful embroidered crewels. This is my version of those designs. The vines are cut of pastel brown. The flowers are taupe, black, chocolate and sienna. This heavy melton is a dark chocolate brown with milk chocolate stitching. A color as warm as the coat. Jackets, like the coats, are unlined. They are cut smaller thru the shoulders than the coats and fit slimmer thru the body. They have a hemline sloped front to back for easy driving. They snap closed at the neck and the lapels form an overlapping collar. With flowers the color of coconut ,chocolate and almonds, it is as classic as the candy bar. This coat is a medium weight melton with a napped sheen finish. Size Large 14-16. back length finish is 36 inches. TANGLED UP IN RED. Colors can be repeated.

I love a midnight walk on a clear winter night. The way the stars sparkle with colors that are just out of sight. This thick wool is windproof against the night chill and covered in all the colors I imagine I see sparkling in the corner of my eye. Teal, burgundy, seinna, soft brown. This coat will warm you thru the winter, when the shrubs have faded. Large 14-16-18 length 52. Olive leaves scatter among the blossoms of burgundy, brown and sienna. Small 6-8-10 back length 47.
