Here he is grinning with delight as he 'helped' Dave and I rearrange our bedroom. He looks so much like Dave's nephew Nicholas in this picture that I can't help but smile! I have decided to use this blog as a place to display my attempts at creativity. I hope to be more consistent with my watercolor, and pastel, and pencil work. Let Earth Receive Her King! This watercolor was a Christmas gift to Dad Sam. I wanted to convey the excitement of the birth of the Savior in a way that I witnessed in Washington. I have become fascinated with Irish mythology. I love all things Irish. So, in Irish mythology there is a magical place called Faery. It is a magical land. This is where the fairies live. Like a whirlpool it never ends. I have been pretty busy since I came home for Christmas. Of course, busy is relative. Not all of that time was well spent. When I first came home I rearranged my new bedroom. I am now in the basement bedroom. Talk about feeling like an outcast! I had fun hanging up my own pictures and putting my signature on the drab walls. I want it to feel as much like home for me since I am off track right now and am home from school until April.
