A Walk in France. Adventures in Southern France. It Lives That Which Is Allowed To Live. July 21, 2014. Tour de France–A Snapshot →. Our day started out with a walk to Pamiers. Our train was set to leave around 3pm, so we had a couple of hours to burn by checking things out in the city. My company was the two Chinese ladies that arrived earlier that week. They’re pretty cool and they’d never been to Pamiers before except to be picked up at the train station. We saw this guy and headed straight for it.

Two in the front, four in the back. Max speed appeared to be a brisk 32mph. It was pretty funny, we had blankets an...

A Walk in France. Adventures in Southern France. Larnat’s Blurred Lines–Past and Present at the Same Time. August 3, 2014. On the road again — Pamiers to Carcassonne →. Undaunted, I decided to make for Larnat anyways and on the first full sun day of the week I left the house early in the morning, walked to the Pamiers train station, took the train to Tarascon, hitchhiked to Bouan at the foot of the mountain and then walked up the winding road to Larnat.
