While the calendar says Spring is coming at the end of the week, we aren't convinced it will make it to Iowa just quite yet! So we got to celebrate Emma's birthday again, this time closer to the actual date. And the second time around, she didn't need any prompting as to how things worked! Excited to have another special cupcake. Intently watching Daddy to figure how that "blowing thing" works. Way to go, Emma! Okay, so maybe she still had a little help, but she did try to do it).

Grandpa and Grandma Hawkins and Aunt Jana were able to stay with us for the weekend of Easter as well. While we wish we could have had more time to spend with them, we were thankful for the time they were here. A "little" rocking chair in the Amana colonies. All ready for Easter Sunday! From our family to yours. Friday, January 23, 2009. We are finally getting around to posting some pictures from our trip to Kansas a few weeks ago. A picture of Emma with her faithful traveling companion. Shortly after we took this picture, we heard Emma giggling. We looked back to find Daisy sitting on top of Emma in her carseat! We're thankful they both get along so well. The 4 grandkids with Grandpa and Grandma Hawkins. Emma and Daisy spending some time together on Grandpa's lap. Jay and Baby Jay.
