Stephen Heiner: Buenos Aires
http://stephenheiner.blogspot.com/2008/05/buenos-aires.html
Entrepreneur Teacher Writer Traveler Avid Catholic. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. No, I didn't go to Australia, but I did cross the Equator for the first time and went to Buenos Aires, Argentina. It wasn't vacation - strangely that's still ahead of me. I was actually there on a freelance writing gig. Four days - in/out, a lot of writing and revision, not a whole lot of sight seeing. Suited me fine, especially because it was Winter! My way down to Buenos Aires took me through Atlanta, hub of Delta Air Lines.

Entrepreneur Teacher Writer Traveler Avid Catholic. Thursday, June 14, 2012. ITunes Match, giving in to Apple, and fighting upgrading. Some time ago, I lost my dumb-phone and went to the Verizon store to buy a new one. One of the advantages of having an iPhone, however, is the ability to use iTunes Match. Now let me explain. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The ugly si...

Entrepreneur Teacher Writer Traveler Avid Catholic. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Two Days in Thailand. One of the nice things about flying a budget airline is the privilege of bragging to other people about how cheap it was for you to fly. Prior to this flight I could have bragged: “Hey, I flew from Singapore to Thailand for $60, man! 8221; Now I got to brag: “So, I showed up for my flight 90 minutes early and it was delayed for 7 hours, so I got to sleep until then…hey, wait! 8221; Perhaps one of the gre...

Stephen Heiner: Why I hate neoconservatives
http://stephenheiner.blogspot.com/2008/10/why-i-hate-neoconservatives.html
Entrepreneur Teacher Writer Traveler Avid Catholic. Monday, October 27, 2008. Why I hate neoconservatives. Neoconservatives are responsible for foreign policy modeled on the Project for a New American Century. S American imperialist model. Imperialism should not be the goal of a conservative - not in any century. But that's just the tip of the iceberg (or rather "tip of the spear," as I'm sure they would appreciate a more bellicose metaphor). Neoconservatives and their spear carriers at National Review.
