valences: Lost and Found
http://adamdarrenhayes.blogspot.com/2010/02/lost-and-found.html
Tuesday, February 2, 2010. This is an installation that I completed over the summer. It is the last one that I did before training for the 1/2 marathon and starting up some new drawings (if you don't count the crappy one I just painted over.) I just never got around. To finishing and posting these images. So, there it is. I'm currently working on some new drawings and 2 new installations. In the meantime, I've added a few new links on the right. Tuesday, February 02, 2010. Nightingale Printing Press Blog.

valences: Hall Entrance

Wednesday, July 8, 2009. To be difficult to photograph. That's fine though; as I'm viewing this one as more of a sketch or experiment. The piece looks much better in person. I wasn't able to capture the perspective play very well in the images because the piece is too big. The first image is from outside my studio looking in and is not HDR. The others are HDR. Things are going pretty. Smoothly in the studio. I'm not getting nearly as much studio time in as I was when I was ramping. Links to friend's Blogs.

Monday, February 7, 2011. The following are a string of pieces that I made before beginning installation of my second solo at Number 35, "of the triumph it hosted." I made all of these over the course of 1 month and some of the elements from these pop up in the installation for "of the triumph it hosted.". The gold shapes at the center were a mistake and would not be included in a later incarnation of this piece. Not entirely brought to completion. Monday, February 07, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Vegas Shrugged: January 2010

Chron-i-cle v. to make a historical record. Vegas Shrugged is one-part guide to the Las Vegas art scene and seven-parts chronicle of the Las Vegas art scene. It started as ambitious musings on humanity, but then I realized that perhaps a simple record is the most human thing I could offer. Saturday, January 30, 2010. I was lucky enough to be invited to a reception celebrating the Springs Preserve's. Local artist and writer Danielle Kelly wrote a wonderful review. Thursday, January 21, 2010. By Brian Paco...
