Daniel Philip Robinson: Kovet Cases! (and Rugby!)
http://salmon-leap.blogspot.com/2013/04/kovet-cases-and-rugby_3.html
Wednesday, April 3, 2013. So the updates have been quiet these days, but my illustration efforts have kicked off again, and now I can start posting and talking about it! Last Christmas, wandering in and out of shops in Dublin doing some last-minute shopping, I strolled into The Little Museum of Dublin. On St Stephen's Green, who had an Irish Design holiday shop on their first floor. My attention was drawn to a display of Kovet. Click the image for full size. Click the link to see the case.). And a Wacom ...

Saturday, January 5, 2013. New Year at the Beach. Well, we've successfully completed another transit around our local star, and we've ticked forward an increment on our calendar. Time to celebrate! Click for full-sized version. Here's a version without the two guys fighting to the death, in case anyone's interested. Links to this post. Labels: Land of Winter. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Daniel Philip Robinson: June 2013
http://salmon-leap.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 12, 2013. IPad speed-painting on this, the day of your daughters wedding. While watching "The Godfather" tonight, and enjoying its rich, dark, shadowy cinematography, I ran through a couple of quick iPad paintings using Procreate. It was interesting seeing just how much of the frame was filled with pure black, and how the rest of the color scheme mainly consisted of red and gold. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Daniel Philip Robinson: Supergirl!
http://salmon-leap.blogspot.com/2013/04/supergirl.html
Thursday, April 25, 2013. The result of this evening’s iPad Mini sketching — Supergirl! Superman’s fellow Kyptonian buddy. I modeled her on Mahmud Asrar’s design for DC’s “The New 52” version of the character. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Daniel Philip Robinson's Writing and Short Fiction. Dublin, Co. Daniel Philip Robinson: Captain America, robo-dinosaur champion.
http://salmon-leap.blogspot.com/2013/04/captain-america-robo-dinosaur-champion.html
Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Captain America, robo-dinosaur champion. Sort of a request painting here, a friend of mine described something as "almost as cool as Captain America riding a cyborg T-Rex through the battlefield", so here it is. Considering superheroes and dinosaurs are two of the most fun things in the universe to draw, I really ought to draw them more than I currently do. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Daniel Philip Robinson: January 2012
http://salmon-leap.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 23, 2012. I just recieved a belated Christmas gift today, the Wacom Inkling. A little device that you attach to the side of whatever you're sketching on, and it records all of your pen strokes as vectors, negating the need to scan anything while preserving the act of drawing with an actual pen on actual paper. Stephen Kellogg's Blog | Poetry, Ponderings, Prose, Photos & Pounding out the Pathways
Stephen Kellogg's Blog. Poetry, Ponderings, Prose, Photos and Pounding out the Pathways. Flow – Poem. June 26, 2015. It’s there under the surface. Sometimes showing only as a light fog. Over the depths of water. Feelings loading up their back legs. You’d pick up a pen. Or the quite of a dark room with candle light. It’s there, the thought. Waiting patiently, sometimes not. To bleed out on paper. Giving it’s all to express. To give voice to the panther. Black, sleek and fully loaded. April 19, 2015. Set i...

Patch | Stephen Kelly Project Archive
Skip to main content. Stephen Kelly Project Archive. Open Ended Ensemble (v1, reinforcement learning). Patch is a long-term installation in the Mona Campbell building at Dalhousie University. A response to the building’s LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, sponsored by the Canada Green Building Council), the work reacts with light and subtle motion to the digital ‘smart’ systems that monitor and control the building’s internal environmental conditions and energy use. When I started this website one of my main goals (besides shameless self promotion) was to provide people with valuable information on how to be successful in music production and audio engineering.
