The Children's School at Stephens College. Because big dreams start early. Kid’s Corner – Children’s Writings. We had our last Kindergarten/First Grade/Roxaboxen Showcase this morning. The energy was high and students enjoyed observing each table. Eleanor had under the sea figurines. Abe had magnetic shapes. Avery brought a variety of stuffed animals. Jeanne shared her puppy. Olivia brought in another kind of puppy. Eden shared My Little Ponies. Ellie had Snap Circuits. The train Ana brought was a hit!

We have been discussing similarities and differences among friends, and today we discussed height! Students used various blocks in our block area and took turns being measured and measuring a friend. I definitely wouldn't want to teach other people's children, but I love teaching my own. So Claire and Natalie are often the victims of projects laden with a million lessons rolled into them. Saturday, April 5, 2014. Please Don't Give the Children Balloons! Sure she looks cute, but don't be fooled. This relationship is one click of the camera away from devolving into chaos. Before I was a parent, I really liked balloons. They are colorful and fun to dance through the air. I have fond memories of playing keep-it-up as a child and learning about static electricity.
