Thursday, May 14, 2009. Today was Bruce's Field Day at school. I was really nervous about him being out in the sun and about having to watch him while sitting out in the sun. (Our skin and the sun DO NOT mix well! It was a sunny day, but there was also a really cool breeze so we survived! The kids all had fun competing in the various races, but it bothered me, like it always does, that not everyone gets a ribbon. I don't understand why there has to be 1st, 2 nd. Come to our school! Wednesday, January 14, 2009. I just wanted to blog this picture big because I think it is so perfectly precious! Look at little Milton puckering up. Plus, doesn't Mom's hair look fabulous! I just think this picture is a keeper and that Baby Milton will grow up loving it. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. We are home at last - - only 20 hours from Denver. Friday, January 16, 2009. Bruce has spent a lot of time this winter doing what he loves best.shoveling. His favorite quote lately has been about all the things he's done "in his seven years of living". A couple of weeks ago we had a meal that he said was the best meal he'd had in his seven years of living. This year, we've had the worst snow storms he's ever seen in his seven years of living. Saturday, May 9, 2009. Bruce and Dirt.same thing! Bruce has always loved to dig in the dirt. He has a dirt hole in our front yard and one in our back yard. He even asked Santa Clause for dirt for Christmas. I get so tired of using half a bottle of Spray 'n Wash on his jeans. I have told him very clearly that the amount of dirt on his body has got to stop or he will be banned from the dirt holes. So tonight after I mowed the lawn I was sitting in the back yard watching Bruce and Kimber. Not to be left out.
