February 22, 2014. From Bagan, we took a bus to Mandalay. While it normally evokes palaces and ancient charm, the actual city center was rather chaotic. A diary of my journeys to foreign lands. The Last Day – Paris! My final day in France began with an early morning wake-up call. I had to get up at 6 to have breakfast and make the train on time. The regular breakfast place wasn’t opened yet so I packed everything and left for the train station a little early. I had a pastry, orange juice and coffee for breakfast.
