On the road to somewhere: Snowman Diversity
http://plantecologist.blogspot.com/2007/02/snowman-diversity.html
On the road to somewhere. In which a plant ecologist explores botany, fiber arts, and other interesting roadside attractions. Tuesday, February 6, 2007. I was able to capture several snowpersons. Before they melted, and I would like to present them here. There were well dressed snow people. This little guy was one of my favorites. He was about 1 foot tall. Several, pure white varieties. There was a snow dog. This guy - love his hat and the pose of his arms. A snow person greats the day with enthusiasm.

On the road to somewhere. In which a plant ecologist explores botany, fiber arts, and other interesting roadside attractions. Friday, November 20, 2009. Long Time No See. Been looking back over my blog, and I love being reminded of things I had forgotten about. For example, this post on snowman diversity. As such, I have decided I need to put time back into my blog, for myself, though I hope my friends and family will return to reading this blog and hopefully enjoy it. On the road to somewhere. In which a plant ecologist explores botany, fiber arts, and other interesting roadside attractions. Monday, November 23, 2009. Botany Joke of the Day. I offered my Plant Biology students a rare opportunity - extra-credit for botany related jokes. Some of the students pursued this with gusto, and so I have a nice list of botany jokes. Not all good, but still fun. Why are plant capable of consuming cars? Because they are auto-trophic. Http:/ www.arts-and-entertainment.info. Very i...

Thank you for visiting the inside of my head…. I have a love of writing – in just about any form – and have started to post some of my ramblings on the subject of writing on this site. Many writers can trace their attraction to writing right back to their early years and school. My love affair with words didn’t happen at school however. My school was truly awful! Ps I don’t blame the teachers… I blame the system. Where’s the room for words inside those crowded brightly lit craniums? Share on Google Plus.
