Saturday, May 25, 2013. I guess it's about time I blogged. Hayden has been doing really well with Karate. He complains about it sometimes, but really likes his sensei's and has fun at class. He even won 3rd place in sparring at the tournament this year. We went to Moab in April and it was really nice. We didn't do much hiking but it was good weather and nice to relax. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Train for 1/2 marathon. DONE Read with Hayden every night. Finish 100 books in 2012. Your 2012 Reading Challenge Goal Congrats! You have completed your goal of reading 100 books for the 2012 Reading Challenge! 100 of 100 (100%). I had 99 books and remembered we read "The Night Before Christmas" so I barely made it. Thursday, October 6, 2011. I am starting a diet and exercise routine again. I have done really well so far not gaining back a lot of weight, but that 5 pounds I did gain is now sticking and going up! I have been eating a lot of sugar again and just recently, with it getting dark so soon and now the cold, I have stopped exercising. Now my pants are tight and it's time to get serious! Saturday, July 16, 2011. Ok It is all over. I LOVED the movie! It is heart wrenching to realize all that Snape has sacrificed for love. This is ultimately a story about love. Not your typical love story, even with all the magic and unbelievable creatures in the world of Harry Potter, it is more real than any other love story I have read or seen. It is about pure and deep emotion. Something Voldemort did not possess and something you must have to really live! Watching "Harry Potter" grow up!

Sunday, February 5, 2012. Tomorrow my training for the SLC 1/2 Marathon begins! 10 weeks, no soda, no sweets and lots of carbs! Friday, June 8, 2012. Spring baseball is over. Hayden really likes the trophy this time. He decided to try soccer this fall instead but is nervous because they keep score. I think he will do fine. Baseball is a little too slow paced for him and he just messes around and doesn't pay attention. I hope soccer will keep his attention better. I cant believe the year is almost halfway over already!
