Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Danish Reading, etc. Well, there are 10 days until we depart for Denmark! I feel completely prepared and ready to go:) I have made some very important purchases for traveling. From Amazon, I spent $20 on a good selection of plane reading. From Michaels, I purchased a $2 ball of cotton yarn for plane knitting. I am ready! One of the books I got is A History of Danish Dreams. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. If yesterday was a people day, today was a tourist day, but not altogether since we started the day at the Danish Energy Department. Apparently, this was a special privelge becauses they don't usually take groups. I think they took ours because they know how desperately Americans need to hear about renewable energy! Is rumored to be buried here. There is a certain excitement in exploring the depths of a cathedral full of sarcophagi. From ancient history to shopping: Roskilde.
