Wednesday, February 22, 2012. A visit to the Alzheimer Centre. I have never interacted face to face with an Alzheimer's patient. Therefore, this was a new challenge for me. It was easier than I expected, I think that this is because of the previous interactions that I have had with little children. As I used the same delicate way to communicate. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Today, the football season started. We had practise afterschool from 3 till 4.30. We just practised some basic skills and played a game at the end. During the drills that we practised we practised passing. I worked. As football is a team sport! However, I think that I will be able to succeed with all the practise that we'll get. Thursday, September 8, 2011. Being in 12th Grade, I know that this would be the last year that I would be in school, thus the last school sports day. Kickball at Sports day :). Here I took part in majority of the events. I took part in football, basketball and kickball. I haven't played basketball before, but through the two games I played I learnt many tactics which i didn't know. It i ncreased awareness of my own strengths and. The small funds raised by the Alzheimer's group at OSC has been going to helping the construction of this site. Monday, February 13, 2012. Update on Creativity, Action Aspects. Recent posts on this blog has mostly been about the Service project I am involved, so I decided to update with a post on my Creativity and Action aspects, that is Yearbook and Tennis. Yearbook has been commencing as usual every week on Wednesdays. I am now helping out. With miscellaneous pages instead of particular ones, and this week I start editing the Week Without Walls pages of Grades 6-11. And practicing for match-like situations.

Thursday, September 29, 2011. New Creativity CAS: Yearbook! This year in my goals I planned to fulfill more of the Creativity aspect of CAS and I chose the Yearbook activity to do this. During our first meeting of yearbook I was appointed to create the 'Founder's Day' page and will be doing this for most part of the semester. Through this activity I am learning something new, which is using Photoshop, and also exploring my passion for art in a different way, through technology. Friday, September 9, 2011.
