It is officially summer here in Tokyo. Kids are out of school, it is hot and humid, we are nearing the end of the rainy season, and it is time for Hanabi! Who doesn’t love fireworks? They shoot off over 22,500 fireworks on the Sumida River, with over a million people flocking to the Asakusa area to watch! I was soooooo looking forward to this!
