Monday, April 30, 2012. For those of you who don't know, CHOMP is just the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. So I have ONE more day of work left, and then it's go time. Surgery is Wednesday, May 2 @ 7:30am at CHOMP. I will be staying the night and if there are no complications I should be leaving by Thursday early afternoon. Can you believe it's here! Thursday, May 31, 2012. Not Feeling So Hot.(warning: kinda gross). WellI guess I am in the physical sense. :-/. Stop reading if you get queasy! Although it may be too late lol. The biggest problem is that I can't feel pain sensation to protect myself. So the only way I can attempt to heal this is to be very conscious 24/7 whether I feel like my teeth are hitting a "thickness" or my bottom teeth. Ugh. My temp is now 99, and I just look pale. Friday, June 22, 2012. I know I haven't been posting much, but it's really because all my hardships seem to be over! Now it's just about healing! I feel the range of numbness around my chin were my nerve was severed slowing closing in and getting smaller. As in the feeling is slowing coming back more and more. I'm excited. More later.
