Perhaps it is the feeling that warm weather will never arrive. Maybe it is the letdown that naturally comes after a very emotional chapel service yesterday. More likely it is the fact that my body/emotions need a break and aren't likely to get a vacation until May. 1 I have nothing going on tonight (except for maybe a little bit of exercise).

Saturday, June 7, 2008. Well, today we went blueberry picking! Dad, Mom, Chari Regina, the girls, and me. It was really fun although it can get pretty hot, even in the middle of the morning. Gracie enjoyed finding the "humongous". Here's Gracie and Me with one of our humongous one's. Fathie enjoyed eating the blueberries while we did all the picking. Being a princess is such hard work :). Mom and Regina helping Gracie find one's that she can reach. Chari taught Fathie how to find the blue. And I love it!

Sunday, March 9, 2008. East Texas Squirrel Revival. This morning Chari was teaching Sunday School when she looked up to the door and gave a startled gasp. There was something crawling under the door. Then it started running to our part of the room! It was a flying squirrel. We're used to these little creatures in our back yard, and have spent some fun times seeing them come to eat out of our squirrel feeder, but I have never. Seen one in the church! Needless to say things got pretty exciting around there!

Saturday, May 17, 2008. Well, I had my recital last night, and I'm so glad it's over! Recitals can really stress me out, but I've been doing better the past few years as far as the stress goes. I was really excited about that! Here I am at the nine foot Steinway grand piano. It has a really good touch, and is fun to play when I'm not so nervous. Mary came and gave me these really cute daisies. I love them! Here is me, Ashlynn, and Kaelin. You can see the piano and stage pretty well in this picture.

Well, in discovering that I haven't touched this blog since I was in the Holy Land (over a semester ago) I am happy to report that Steph's Wild Adventures have continued! Even though I'm writing this completely for my own benefit, a travel-log of adventures is always good to have.
