1 of 84 Million…. July 21, 2010 in Video. 2 months…that’s how long it has been since I have posted to this blog. I try not to use this blog as a personal voice, but I will this time. My world has been taken over by cancer, in these recent months and my focus has moved from searching for the obscure and interesting to watching the end of my 67 year old Father’s brave 4 year battle with stage 4 cancer. To take 84 million people between 2005-2015. A staggering figure. The Republic of Less. On Cars as art.

October 18, 2010 in Art. Oh…the extent to which some people go for an original Halloween costume! And I thought my husband went a tad overboard with building a Buzz Lightyear costume complete with blow-molded parts, for our then 5 year old son! 8221; I really wanted to get the faceted geosphere look with wireframe.”. Of his ‘papercraft self portrait’. I think he got the look he was going for…! Check out the whole complicated process here. The Republic of Less. Things of random coolness. On Cars as art.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. Week 29 Camping @ Meramac State Park. I had a ton of fun camping with my Shell Bell this weekend, she is the only girl I know who loves to tent camp as much as I do. Although, we did almost get struck by lighting, eaten by bats and swept away in a monsoon! I like to leave a little something behind for the next camper, it's usually a quarter on the picnic table or a deck of cards but this time we left the clothesline tied up. Do you have any camping traditions? Dirty flip flop feet.
