July 6, 2015. 2011 2013년9월. 나는 여러 번의 시련을 겪었고 입학시험과 면접시험에 붙었다가 운명처럼 지금은 다니고 있는 대학에 오게 되었다. 가끔씩 ‘내가 그땐 그런 선택을 과감하게 안 했으면 지금의 나 어땠을까? 과연 그 선택은 나한테 최고의 선택일 것인가? 라는 생각이 많이 들었다. 그런 선택을 한다고 내 미래가 밝을 거라고 장담은 못 하지만 내가 한 그 선택 때문에 후회를 안 할 자신은 있다. 심지어 한국에 가야 그 장학금을 받을 수 있다는 조건이 있다. 안 그러면 그 돈을 못 받는다고 했다. 세상에 이것보다 더 황당한 일이 어디 있겠는가? 분명히 내 돈인데 내가 왜 남의 눈치를 봐야 돼? 왠지 학교 재정관리자가 우리 모두 무릎을 꿇고 빌어야만 장학금을 내놓는 기세인데 혹시 우리의 돈을 떼먹을 생각이라도 있는 건가?
