We are a small winery in the lower Yakima Valley in Washington State and have started blogging to let our friends, family, and customers know what we're up to on a regular basis! These pictures are from earlier this month - when we were pressing the Riesling grapes. The first picture is of the juice from the grapes being pressed out into the collecting tray of the press. The Syrah and Merlot are crushed and fermenting! It has been a great year for the grapes. Stop by and sample some of the ripe wine grapes while you sample the finished wine. We are starting to see wildflowers blooming! We have had some cold foggy weather, with the upside being some really beautiful hoar frost covering everything.
