How You Can Help. The Soup Kitchen operates out of the American Legion building at 565 Diamond Avenue in Rocky Mount, VA. All food is prepared fresh on a daily basis and served between 11:45 am and 12:45 pm each day. Each month, the Soup Kitchen serves. Over 1,250 meals. If You Are in Need. If you need assistance in other areas, we will be happy to assist you in finding resources in the area that can help you. Stepping Stone Mission served:. Over 15,000 hot meals.
