An RN Mommy: July 2007
http://thedaysofamyslife.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
The hectic life of a mommy on her way to becoming an RN. Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Derek and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary last week. Hardly seems possible, once upon a time I thought 10 years was an ETERNITY. So, unlike most previous years, we actually went out on a date, albeit a lunch date and afternoon movie, but hey, I’m not complaining. I just love that. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Life of a Nursing Student: Labor and Delivery
http://student-nurse-may.blogspot.com/2008/09/labor-and-delivery.html
The Life of a Nursing Student. The ramblings of a student nurse, just trying to make it through graduation! Tuesday, September 23, 2008. I left the OR before they were done. It was pretty cool to watch the surgery and see all the water and blood. I'm glad I didn't pass out or puke in my mask. The vaginal delivery was horrid! It scared the desire to have children right out of me! Posted by Student Nurse May. Another informational, enjoyable post to read.thanks for putting it together. Subscribe to the blog.

The Life of a Nursing Student. The ramblings of a student nurse, just trying to make it through graduation! Saturday, February 7, 2009. Back into the game. I was pleased with my work. My patient told me several times she thought I'd be a good nurse. To me that is the best compliment I can receive. I was also given the opportunity to start a catheter on another patient! Graduation will come soon enough. Posted by Student Nurse May. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://student-nurse-may.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
The Life of a Nursing Student. The ramblings of a student nurse, just trying to make it through graduation! Friday, April 18, 2008. This semester has been full of up and downs. I've had issues with some of my friends, issues with money, issues with patients, and issues with college administration. All in all though I've done fairly well. I passed most of my check offs first time, kept a B average on my lecture class, and the most important thing of all. I didn't hurt any patient! View my complete profile.

Just a girl out to prove that true strength comes from within. Sorry everyone for my lack of blogging. It’s been a crazy few months. Since I last blogged in October, I have completed all of my residency interviews in general surgery! Interview season was exciting, terrifying, exhausting, and expensive. I will find out on March 20 where I will spend the next 5 or 6 years! So I’m officially back on the mats. Our academy is growing, especially in terms of how many women there are! And especially because I u...

Stethoscopes and Scrubs
Monday, July 28, 2014. I am trying to decide what to do with this blog. It still gets consistent hits each week, but I don't feel like I have anything that exciting to talk about. Since I'm no longer in school, I don't have advice to give nursing students like I did in the past. All right, anyone have anything you want to ask me about being a school nurse? Any suggestions for posts? Links to this post. Thursday, April 24, 2014. I just read this. Links to this post. Sunday, August 18, 2013. Tomorrow is th...

Stethoscopes and Stories
My accounts of medical education and the profession, with a healthy dose of politics, current events, and the finer things in life. Thursday, September 19, 2013. Alex, I will take "What's in a residency application" for $2,000. Its residency application season. Woooo! This means medical students get to keep suit makers and seamstresses in business yet another year as we have to brush up (or buy new of) the oh-so-formal business attire. Meh It took me years. In med school to wrap my brain around this one.
