The AD Concert Band was formed in 1975 as a youth band by the late Arthur Doyle, following his retirement as Principal Tuba with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO). This makes us one of the oldest civilian Concert Bands in the West Midlands. The bands current musical director, Dr Trevor Farren, was appointed in 1992. When using the GPIO I would recommend getting a breadboard and an Adafruit Pi Cobbler Breakout Kit ( available from modmypi. This will allow you to easily connect the Raspberry Pi to a breadboard so you can quickly and easily build circuits. The Cobbler is a kit and does require a small amount of soldering.:.
