http://steve2nd.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 19, 2010. I found this on History today if any one is interested. Its by John D. Niles a Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. Beowulf’s Great Hall. John D. Niles. John D. Niles reports on the search for the real location of the Heorot, the hall where Beowulf feasted before fighting the monster Grendel. A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself" - Joseph Campbell. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. The Hero With A Thousand Faces. An interesting book I found while researching heroes and their qualities is Joseph Campbells. The Hero With A Thousand Faces. Which is frequently referred to as the definitive guide to hero characterisation. Campbell claims that all heroes throughout time shared the same fundamental structure: the monomyth.
